Vedaparayanam Significance
Veda produces sound which feeds the world. Veda is enchanted to create sound. The sound so produced takes different vibrations and frequency and brings the essential food from the space to the earth, such as rain, sunlight, good thinking, moral behaviors and in turn it puts the world peace and happy. Hence the Veda alone can give peace and happy to the earth.
With fullest blessings and boon, Maharishis created Veda by observing the vibrations of the nature. They classified Veda to help the generations. Veda is the creator, feeder, hider and destroyer. It is the movement of life. It is the root of the happenings. It is the cause of everything.

• Space cannot be seen, felt, touched and tasted.
• Air can be felt but cannot be seen, touch and taste.
• Fire can be seen and felt but cannot be tasted.
• Water completes all the characters and beyond this
• Earth is the fundamental for all the others.
• The Pancha Boothas give the necessary food through Veda and hence
Veda Rakshanam is very important.
The reciting method of Sri Krishna Yajur Vedam has been classified into five. They are Modam, Padam, Kramas, Jata ghanam, varnakramam.
The usual parayana of vedha is called modem.
The sentences found in the form of modem is divided into words called padham. The krama parayanam is done by reciting the first word of the maudhra with the second, the second with third & third with fourth and so on till the whole sentence is completed.
The Jata Parayanam was recited as first word with the second recited together and then recited in reverse ie second & first word together and so on. The Ghana Parayanam the more difficult one than Jata chanting the words in different orders with a lot of combinations, as a Karnatic Vidwan puts Swaram for a Ragham.
One who has mastered in Ghana Parayanam is called Ganapaadigal or Vedhalakshanam.
